My name is Yuanheng Zhang. I stayed in Brugg/Windisch during the summer of 2015 for an internship at the Brugg Cables AG. Due to lack of time, I did not visit Brugg in advance to check the rooms. But the landlord was very kind to offer me current pictures of available rooms for me to decide. Upon my arrival, she gave me detailed information about administrative and common issues to which attentions should be paid while staying in Switzerland. The landlord always responses quickly if any demands concerning the room and facilities appears and a friendly relationship was kept between the landlord and tenants. About the location: Urban Housing is located in Windisch, 10-15 min walking distance to the local railway station. Two large supermarkets are also within 7 min walking distance. Because it is located near a main street, traffic sounds can be heard on the street side, but it did not bother me. There are much green areas nearby where people go jogging and the river flowing across Brugg offers nice view and cooling during summer months. The chance to meet (up to) seven different people in this WG was also one the arguments to live in here. All in all I will definitely recommend staying at Urban Housing because I enjoyed the time a lot. It is a comfortable and uncomplicated apartment with a reasonable price.

My name is Martino, I am 28 years old and I am a Ph.D student in physics at University of Padova, Italy. I stayed at Urban Housing in summer during my 4 months internship at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI). It has been a really nice time thanks to the accommodation and to the flat mates. The WG is brand new and the room is comfortable with a private wardrobe and desk. The best aspect of Urban Housing is the possibility to live with other people (up to 8) in a well designed space. It is not an old house arranged as WG, it is a space thought to be a WG and that helps in the common living. Brugg is not the most full-of-life town but if you stay in Urban Housing you can know other people and have nice friendships. Finally, the contact with the landlord has been good and with no troubles. I definitely enjoyed that staying.

My name is Sandra and I am originally from Austria. I got a new job in Windisch, only a stone's throw away from the Urban Housing and therefore was looking for place to live where I can move in quickly. My new boss recommended the Urban Housing and at the first moment I was a bit sceptical to live in a container with 7 men (at that time) but indeed it was a very nice time. The furnishing is very modern and it offers everything you need. Our landlord was very helpful at any time and I enjoyed living together with my flatmates.

My name is Péter and I'm a engineering student from Hungary. I spent the summer in Switzerland, at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) as a foreign intern. During this time I stayed at the flat of Urban Housing. In my opinion, the flat was very well equipped. The community was awesome as well. The flatmates, who came from different countries, were quite friendly and helpful. Another huge advantage of the flat is that the town, where it's located, has very good public transport connections. PSI, Zürich or Basel can all be reached within 10, 20, 35 minutes. The flat was also quite close (30 minutes by car) to the German border. Altogether, I would definitely recommend the place, because in this prize range it is impossible to find such a nice flat like the one of Urban Housing.

My name is Steffen Maude Fagerland, and I am an engineering student from Norway. I am taking an internship at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. Before my time here, I searched a lot around, and this was by far the best option with respect to presence to the town, area of living, and price. The flat was already well equipped when I came in August, and the contents/living standard has only increased. For a non-native, the cohabitants have also been very good. My German was then (and still is) not very good, but even without knowing a single word of German, the landlord gave me all the help and assistance I needed/required. And in the multinational community, English is well accepted and spoken; all of the information/instructions of the house are also given in English. The infrastructure in Switzerland is exceptional, and everything can be reached by train. And since Urban Housing is within walking distance of the train station, the entire Switzerland is within reach, as is Germany. I will highly recommend Urban Housing as the choice for accommodation, it is by no means an accident that I stayed at Urban Housing longer than intended ;).
